Discussion under Graphic Cards, part of the Hardware Zone category on TechEnclave; ahhh so looks wats coming
GeForce 9800GT hits retail, but still no announcement - Expreview.com
might not be better than ...
m8 its G92 55nm, Revised 8800GT. Nothing special, maybe lower TDP, temps, heat blah blah. and more overclockable, Hybrid SLi, better scaling in SLi (like other 9 series cards) and cheaper to manufacture, so that they can atleast compete in low-mid end market with 4670/4850. Every1 love best bang for buck, it maybe if priced around 130$ mark.
nvidia naming for G92 sucks really confusing in the end.... no way to keep 9800GT performance wise.... looks like more of a just 55nm architecture placing in 8800GT but does it performs better than 8800GT or 8800GTS G92... i think NO
Since, it is a revamped version of 8800GT, performance would not be more than 10%, likewise 9800GTX over 8800GTX..It would perform near or equal to 8800GTS 512MB..
No threat to 4850 yet..:
