if you have tuneup utilities there is an option to increase icon size. other than that there is a setting in vista to increase icon size. but since you are an xp user try tuneup utilities.

for text size you would have to increase the size from normal to larger.

    try setting resolution to 1680*1050.

most of todays full hd monitors has two native resolutions >1920*1080 and 1680*1050.

screen should look equally good on both these resolution in supported monitors like Samsung 2233sw, or dell 2209s...

and do let us know if it works for the g2220. im too planning on the same.

    1920*1080 has 16:9 ratio while 1680*1050 has 16:10...

so 1680*1050 wont look as good as 1920*1080 in full HD monitors..

This is what happens when you believe in all this Full HD crap dished out by LCD manufacturers. For all practical purposes, 1680X1050 is perfectly fine for a 22" monitor. Anything above that is simply marketing crap that does more harm (16:9 and small pixel pitch, greater GPU requirements) to a 22" monitor than good. Instead of more pixels, what we should really care about is LCD panel and colour quality.

BTW, spawnfreak, increase you DPI settings. It will help assuage the situation somewhat.

Ok im gonna post my problem in this same topic...I have windows 7, 22" Benq g2220hd monitor, gf9600gt...so my problem is that when i use 1920x1080 the screen gets out of monitor...its like i dont see the start button and i dont see clock and other icons same as lang. bar in bottom left and right...so the sides are out of reach...when i use 1680x1050 its the best resolution that i can use...so if there is any1 who can give me a hint how to fix this i would appreciate it!!
