Here's what we've got so far:

    ATi RADEON X800 GTO

    -12-pipe 3D engine with 256-bit memory interface

    -256MB variants will feature a 400MHz VPU core and 490MHz GDDR-3 frequency

    -128MB models will feature a 400MHz VPU core and 350MHz DDR-1 frequency

What's behind the launch of ATi RADEON X800 GTO?

This battle between nVidia and ATi is getting ridiculous by the day. Soon, there will be a situation when a "newer" card would be announced every single day.

^^LOL looks like ur prediction might actually come true. ATI shud now stop releasing more X800 cards :|. There's just way too much confusion in the market. On the other hand the reason for these cards probably is that it has too many defective R430/480/423 cores that it wants to get rid of before the R520 launch since no one will buy an X800 after the R520 comes out. Ppl might be able to snag one of these parts at a real bargain in the process .

Way too many x800 products for ATi own good. Some potential buyer might get miffed by so many different monikers

XT, XTPE, Pro, XL, GT, GTO... :S

Ok... so you mean the memory is slower than standard GT.....But why.... I don't understand the need for a GTO when there is already a GT

Well its a rather old card... as i said 12 pipes so all the failed GT cores probably went to these and dell bought them for cheap
