So what you say? If these benches are alright (and to me they seem true coz: one, they are pretty comprehensive, seem to be in line with supposed pricing and performance, and second; i trust our far-eastern tech freaks with this kind of stuff) 4850 is looking good.

As a tech enthusiast, I strongly hope this time DAMIT holds its own against Nvidia

PS: Call Of Juarez is game that normally favours ATI cards. But still for reference @ 1920X1200 (4AA+Shadow quality normal+high details)

9800GTX gets 20 FPS
8800GTS (512) gets 16 FPS
8800GTX gets 18 FPS
9800GX2 gets 25 FPS
3870X2 gets 19 FPS.

If 4850 is getting 26 FPS, even when QX9650 is overclocked to 4 Ghz, it must not be at high. But even then the performance is no doubt good for a $210 card. I need to upgrade from my 8600GT and I am thinking why not get... :-)

^^^^before posting please go through the thread and the screenshots morgoth posted, it has GPUZ ss with all other details you would need. Ofcourse it will not be able to read the clocks properly....And I do hope u know bout XS, he is not posting news on XS but a review, he wud surely get banned if he is faking it.

Crysis 1680 x 1050 no AA high settings card stock =Avg FPS:35
Crysis 1900 x 1200 no AA high settings card stock =Avg FPS: 29
Crysis 1900 x 1200 4 x aa high settings card stock =Avg FPS: 19

Seems like its gonna be a double whammy from ati this time.
