It seems some people have reported that fan of 9600Gt can't be controlled from Rivatuner. Now Rivatuner's developer has spoken about the issue: According to this link the problem is because Nvidia skipped on a chip that monitors fan speed.



Hopefully, Nvidia partners would take note and include it in the card.
