The launch is still a month away, but folks at En.Expreview managed to get hold of a 9500GT from a Chinese company. they tested the card against 8600GTS and ATI's 3650.

Because of default frequency limitation, GeForce 9500GT did not show much performance. It is totally over HD 3650 but still can not face 8600GTS. But if its default clock raise to 600MHz, then the card can raise its performance to the level of 8600GTS with no questions. From what we know, some companies are ready to unveil 9500GT with 750MHz. But till now availability and price of GeForce 9500GT is still unknown.

For a card with X500GT moniker, I say performance is impressive.

Not really its the same in Gaming and driver support might give u an additional 1-2fps cause specs of 9500GT and 8600GT are ditto.

IN purevideo the 9x cards might have some advantage though..pricing will decide the fate of this card

9500GT is definitely faster than 8600GT. In the above review they tested it against 8600GTS and it was not slower by much.

What's the expected price of the card? Around 4-5K?

9500GT will replace the 8600GT and have better performance with lower power consumption, making it a better choice for HTPC's and entry level gamers.
