It does Have an IPS display.
The advantage of the Indian version over the imported Thailand version being sold at ebay @59k are -
1. IPS + matte display over TN + matte
2.8GB RAM over 4GB
3. Language on the keyboard is English only over English + Thai
4.Peace of mind when it comes to warranty
5. Asus back to school offer(additional 2yrs warranty + goodies)
The only downside of the Indian Edition is it has 2GB DDR3 950m compared to 4GB DDR3 950m present on the imported thailand edition.
But to be honest It really would not make any difference.
I can confirm that the memory utilization in the 128 bit bus of GTX 950M did not go over 750MB (1080p) for me for any of the games that I own.
Metro 2033 @ max, 1080p. I always use HWinfo sensor monitor in the background so noticed the memory usage there, for games like Dota 2, Dragon Age Origins, CS:GO, the video memory usage it seldom goes over 390 MB.
This laptop is a great multimedia option. Dont expect too much gaming on it. Old games will run flawless at mid/high settings but i doubt recent titles will run on high settings without any frame drops etc.... Things would be different if it was a DDR5 instead of a DDR3

the item is same as before, hopefully the price will be lower than before, it depends on many things.
you will know it when the deal goes live, hopefully will make it live in 24 hours.

case 2: upgrade within 1 year and get a fully functioning OS free of cost . Failing to do so, pay for it if you want win 10.

Should be. Witcher 3 30+ fps medium settings at 768p according to notebookcheck.com
