5 Minor bomb blast @ Pune

Also, the guy who got injured is the one who had a detonator (As per as News channels). This can not be a terrorist attack. The blasts were as good as Diwali crackers. But appropriate care is being taken by Bomb Squad and Police. They have found and defused 6-7 bombs so far (again, according to news channels. No way to confirm this)

these being kind of trial shots is more scaring coz who ever did this has dared the system that they can realm hell in heart of city at festive times and no one can stop them.
Terrorist would have not thought a 2nd time before harming anyone or killing. But the nature of this blast puts us in much deeper dilemma that who did this and why low intensity blasts??
What did they want to signify thru this?
Why is it that only after blasts other cities are alerted and IB says they had prior intelligence on attacks :(
I am from Pune and believe me when I say that these places which were targeted today are the most crowded/happening/ center of city/youths and student's hangout area and the crowd is a equal mix of people of all class and community of the society. It could have been million times worst than what happened today.

I personally think that even local outfits could be behind this act. Only if police do their work honestly then the facts will surface.
 
I really doubt this has been done to divert attention from Anna's campaign because barely anyone is paying attention,

I don't think it is a prank and should be investigated thoroughly.
 
Police do have all required info and all but bastard politicians running for vote banks don't let them function fully.

I was gonna take the road parallel to this (since its a one way) back home. Some how by a stroke of luck I gave up thinking that it will be crowded..
I pray to God to give the people who did this a piece of sane mind.

Edit: I also noticed a White Jag flanked by 5 police cars at front and back zipping thru Senapati Bapat Road. Not sure who that was tho..

It could be APJ Abdul Kalam.
He was in Kolhapur yday and in Pune in the evening.

Actually yesterday itself the Delhi High court extended the ban on SIMI. Some say this was a protest against that hearing. And its well known that SIMI is the most active in this part of the country. Specially the Aurangabad district near in central MH.
 
APJ sir is too too simple living and high thinking guy and I doubt he would use jaguar.

He travels by economic class flight and he must be nearby drdo areas as it was day in last few days.
It was drdo awards ceremony where he would love to talk to younger generation of his scientist.
 
Our media is doing all wrong work by highlighting saffron terror and diverting attention.
Their is no proven saffron extremist activity as bad as simi.

The transport is arranged generally by the event managers. Like if he came to a college function, the college arranges luxury cars for guests and
informs the police for security and pilot vans.
Dr. Kalam even if he can would not splurge on such show offs.
 
if you guys remember,when Dr.Kalam left rastrapati bhavan,his entire stuff was in two trucks and majority was books.
i dont say it was not kalam sir in pune,
but their are lot many bigger fish in their.
 
I was with @subdeveloper at my office in Koregaon Park when all this has happened.
IMO the logic behind is POLITICS only. 2 days back more then 7 states lost electricity transmission lines and now 5 minor blast in Pune. Patrol prices are like stock exchange (keeps changing daily)
What is congress doing?
