The main reason I have purposedly skipped that part is..
He might have thought of waiving the duty due to the cost. Why should I forcefuly pull that point and drag him to imply the duty?
If he has decided to levy duty, anyways, it would be 28% (~450INR).

One more thing.. The guy mentioned there were around ~100 packs received in span of 2 days....and more were coming.
Thats the reason for their doubt...and this initiation.

They have till now treated this as small item only. (Chances of waiving duty is higher), But lets see...
 
gyrphon , you had submitted invoice on 23rd (correct me if i'm wrong) , whats your online status says for the india post ,etc etc ??

i still havn't submitted the documents , but my shipment status changed :-
did they really send out the item ??

My reply: "They just introduced this new model, Thats it... and everybody will show the same value invoice, because thats the price."

Mine changed as well, 'Send item to domestic location (Inb)", I guess they have decided finally, either to put duty or not. Lets see how it goes I'll wait till tomorrow.

My status is now same as yours: "Item sent to local post office". I guess this would be delivered either today or tomorrow. It looks like they've cleared the entire lot. The only question now is whether they've let these go free, or whether customs has been applied.

As,Said i have visited yesterday around 3:30-4:00 Clock ,

I have only took the invoice,They were ok with that ,Did not ask me any question , I asked him about that 2k+ thing he said it would 28% fine on what ever the total cost was
He is calculating @ 1$=56 INR
