I guess this would help - a list picked up from the Sandisk India website - http://sandisk.in/Assets/File/pdf/indian_retailers.pdf
Hi guys,
Im new here, I am frm Mumbai. this is my first post.
I have decided to buy the Sandisk Sansa Clip 2GB mp3 player. However Im unable to locate good shops(preferably authorised dealers) where you can buy it.
I tried ALFA in Vile Parle, called them and they said they did not have it. Also called Croma and they said they discontinued keeping any of the sandisk players.
Is there any other good place to buy it at cheap prices? If anyone has bought it recently, then please do reply.
Thanx in advance.

@mallik: I have that pdf already. Most stores listed in it are Chroma and I found 1 store which does have stock of 1GB version, not 2GB. Also some of the Heera Panna stores listed in the pdf, they are also out of stock.
I want to buy it directly, not online as I am going on a trip soon. Has anyone bought it recently from lamington or heera panna??
Hey guys just an update, I bought the sansa clip today at Lamington for 2.6K. It was available at just 1 store. Everybody there told me the clips were not available.
which shop yaar...plz reply !

Man that s**ks. Such a nice player and not in stock anywhere ??? I also got the last piece from Croma Bandra. Other Cromas never had it in stock. Only some overpriced Sony crap.
I bought it from ebay last month and was shipped to me in immaculate condition in a week.

After checking most similar threads here ppl generally dont reply after they solve their problem. Replying to change that. The shop I bought it had this last piece, so I couldnt bargain much. Im positive there is no other clip in Lamington unless some small vendor somewhere has old stock. It may become available when the next wave of stocks come in.
I would advise ppl to get it frm ebay, thats the best choice. Im headed out of town in a few days so bought it this way. If you can a wait a week or two go for ebay sellers.
Rashi is the distributor of Sansa and other Sansa products. They couldn't even get my player RMA'ed for 2 months - they said no new stock was coming. Finally I got a new Sansa Clip for my defective Sansa Express, and am more than happy with it. However, that might be the reason for the non availability of Sansa Clip in Mumbai. Earlier Alpha and Croma had it all the time. FYI, Alpha also gets its Sandisk products from Rashi.

@mallik: almost everybody gets it from Rashi. My clip box also has the Rashi address sticker at the back. I called Rashi earlier, they gave me the number of their Lamington distributor, and I called there and was told there were no clips only Fuze. So there you go.
