Is it a good buy ?

I m getting a deal of 3k for a modded psp 1000 , is it worth the buy can it play all the games which have come out for the ps3 and what are its pros/cons when compared to the other psps i.e psp 2k and psp 3k.

Surely you meant psP instead of ps3?

I wouldn't say it's a great deal. The phat is the oldest of the lot (it is the most easily hackable psp though) and though it can play all the games of PSP2k and 3k, I don't like it that much.

I own a PSP2k silver and I've seen deals for a fully modded 2k + 16 GB Memory Stick + Case go for around 5k. Considering the 16GB stick itself is around 1k, that's 3.5-4k for a 2k. The ones I'm talking about were in pristine condition with hardly any scratches.

, i m getting a memory card need to ask of how much and can you please elaborate why you dont like it that much.

It's fat mate. That's a off putting factor for me.

And secondly the screen isn't as good on the phat as it is on the 2. It's even better on the 3k so you might want to check that out.

Otherwise,t he hardware is largely the same and has been for the past 6 years (I think!). That's why the NGP is coming this december.

Check the market section, I'm sure I saw some on sale a few days back.
