Tekken 5 Online Coming Soon

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is set to have a new online mode added soon, it has been confirmed. For the first time Tekken will be available to play online, available as an add on purchase for existing owners of the download game, or together as a full package for new customers.

Earlier in the year the makers of Virtua Fighter 5 for the PS3 and 360 said that it wasn’t possible to include online battles in games where decisions are so precise and quick, so it is a surprise that Tekken has managed to squeeze it into the Playstation Network.

The game will feature Opti Match, Quick Match, Custom Match and Friend Match options, as well as a ranking system and voice chat. Once purchased the game will be free to play online. Included in the online update will be two single player modes; Practice Mode, and Survival Mode, where you continue to face different opponents whilst keeping the same health from previous battles.
