    We have seen them both now.

    Both have been smash hits with great reviews.





    Which in your opinion won the the most anticipated showdown of 2004.

    For me it was hl2. An awesome physics engine and a superb gameplay. Its been the best game for a long time now and its new avtar has not dissapointed us.

    havnt played DOOM 3 as yet ..... HL2 was awesome but it didnt give me the rush i felt while playin HL ..... i really used to get scared at times while playin HL but nothin of that sort in HL2 ..... i hope i get to play DOOM 3 real soon .....

    but comapir Farcry and DOOM3 and u'll have some serious competetion...

    Overall game,HL2 wins hands down.



    but i guess Doom3 engine will be more of a hit than the game.Its always this when it comes to ID.



    Quake 3 was a hit but its engine ruled

    The vapour or steam effect in Doom3 is simply amazing.Same is true for the water effect in HL2

    eh..u must be joking..

    Doom 3 is no competition for Farcry...

    Farcry will beat Doom 3 hands down for story n gameplay...

    but as for graphics, Doom 3 has got a better one still Farcry isn't FarBehind...



    and for HL2 vs Doom 3

    again, HL2 is a clear winner as overall game

    but when it comes to graphics only, Doom 3 rules.
    You don't need to know everything!

    in my opinion....i think both farcry and HL2 were good....didnt like doom3 as much as it was hyped to be....but yeah...i totally agree with strider....farcry had a solid storyline...but nothin can beat HL2 in physics engine and the gameplay...what to say of the visual bliss....but yeas...doom 3 had one of the best gfx ever...

    and HL2 was spooky too...that was one hell of a game..i am already looking forward to the next HL

    yup i did....nd they both r very goood in thier own class...



    Farcry has beautiful scenarios ,outdoors nd really goood AI

    Doom is dark nd scary ......



    but seriously .....i liked Farcry more than doom3....

    I have palyed DOOM III, Farcry and HL2 all thee and as per my verdict for sheer fun FARCRY is the best game... It has everthing except for a good ending...
