HALF LIFE 3 is this real?

Discussion under Gaming, part of the Gaming Zone category on TechEnclave; I thought Episode 3 was the end of HL series as per valve... thats why I am doubting this... Half ...

I thought Episode 3 was the end of HL series as per valve...
thats why I am doubting this...

Gfx looks serene!!! But I highly doubt this screenie.

Would've been an artist's impression.

Sigh reminds me of the legendary HL-I.
HL-II didn't live upto the expectations except from demanding graphics and PC requirements.

Googling reveals a couple of youtube videos. Cant watch 'em from my workplace. Damn.

Half Life 2 : Episode 3 is the next in line for this franchisee.
HF3 is being developed, but Episode 3 will be the next one to be released.

Now who would be dumb enough to kill a pretty successful franchise... Surely not a smart company like Valve... Also to the member who thinks HL2 was crappy... Mate what have you been smoking... The storyline was good... The source engine i believe is the most scalable engine... The physics of the game was incredible...

All in all HL3 is definitely on...

In an interview long back the developer of valve games said that they r working on counter strike nxt gen.
and people who think HL2 was crappy. crappy? wtf, it was the best game ever made, was 2004 game of the year, won highest number of awards for a single game, some 30+, like best game of the yr , best pc game of the yr, best graphics, best animation, best story etc
