you will need atleast cd-1 burnt
and if you get a great net connection or a lan mirror, you can use that instead of burning rest of the cds

grub is just a bootloader (choice screen if you want to go in linux or windoze)
seeing you didnt know what grub was...you better burn the fedora cds and install
you dont have to burn the last cd since it usually contains only internationalization data

try to find a 'linux for you' edition with the conplete distro on cds/dvds

A warning - if your windows drives are NTFS, you can kiss that method goodbye.
And there is no such thing as wingrub. What he links to is just a grub image.

I stand corrected.
What I mean is that it is just grub.. apparently they added an editor for it. If you want to make that image yourself, all you need to do is use dd, though admittedly you'd have to do some fancy stuff to indicate the location of grub.conf/menu.lst should you want that in your Windows partition.
Frankly I don't see the need for all those shenanigans.
Why don't you use a DVD image?
