Tata Sky to my HP DV5T-1015TX

Hi,
I am trying to get Tata Sky on my HP DV5-1015TX which has an inbuilt TV tuner.
Unfortunately it only has a small wire that looks like it can only accept a cable TV wire to it (pic attached here).

Does anyone know if I can get some kind of connector to connect the Tata Sky output cables to this?

BTW I also have a HDMI port on my comp, could I use that also? If so what do I need to get that connected?

The TATA sky set top box has an RF out rt? Then you can use that to connect to your tuner.

I did try connecting that, but when I did a scan with Windows Media Center, did not get any channels, so assumed that RF out was not working?

Has someone tried using the RF out with their TataSky box?

What are the settings you use in Media Center when scanning for channels?

you wont get all channels on the tv, just one channel that shows the stb output, and plays whatever channel is set on the set top box, you have to change channel using the stb itself

I am using Tatasky STB on my PCTV. It is connected via RF out. The channel no. is fixed at 68. I use PCTV vision (Pinnacle's own program) to watch tv.

Try using the software that comes with the tv tuner in your laptop instead of using Media Center.

Thanks for all the help folks.
Managed to get it working with the RF-out and HP QuickPlay.

I've noticed that when I use the remote, there is a considerable delay with the STB to update any action to the screen. Guess that wont go away?

I am using it with my external tv tuner with RF out !
