    I read through their specification but am unable to see any significant diff in the two mobos. Any idea?

    first of all the price tag

    i knw people suggested u the d2h model
    but the thing i could find anywhere is the s2h with a big price tag

    well its listed in deltapage for 6k is that good, well its almost similar to the UD2H and the price also seems the same. Thats why I was wondering whats the difference.

    So is it ok for me to buy this, since the UD2H seems to be unavailable.

    785GMT-UD2H supports DDR3 RAM IIRC, and the other one is DDR2. If I were you, I'd pick the DDR3 option, merely for future proofing.

    That would be the MA78GM-US2H the one without the "T" thats DDR2 one. The one I'm talking about is MA785GMT-US2H. check out the link

    Ah yes, the GMT US2H looks to be as good. Not a problem if you get it.

    Ok then will get the same.
    going to ritchie st in another hour.
    Any body has any opinion about the Asus M4A785TD-V-EVO.
    If i dont get the gigabyte mobo i am planning to get the Asus. My budget will
    exceed by 2k by this though.

    The D stands for Durability.
    The D board uses solid caps completely - which makes it more durable. The S board uses solid caps only for the CPU VRM circuitry.. everything else are electrolytic caps.

    Lolz... Lynx site uses UD2H picture for US2H listing so got confused.. Thanx to Eddy I know now.

    So its Durability & Support of Dolby Home Theater..
