Cool Suggest a GeForce 7050/7100 Based Mobo

I'm building a budget PC for a friend and have problems choosing the right mobo. I'm looking for a mobo with decent integrated graphics and average overclocking capabilities (since I consider no OC’ing on a C2D, a serious crime)
I've closed upon the Abit I-N73HD (@4.2K) as the preferred mobo with the Palit N73V (@2.6K) as a backup incase of inadequate funds… However, these mobos feature single channel memory instead of the standard dual channel memory. Will this deficiency affect performance to a large extent?

Apart from these mobos does anybody have some other recommendations under 4.5k??

How about the XFX 630i with 7150 onboard , it costs 3.5k

read the review here Quick Look (Review) at XFX 630i (7150) - Motherboard for a Budget yes performance Quad Core system | Choto Cheeta Online

I dont think performance loss will be significant specially if you buy 800 Mhz ram

if i were you , id buy the Palit Board and use the extra money in buying more 800 MhZ RAM

XFX 630i Nvidia 7150 is a good board indeed, but the major down side of any 630i chipset based board is the lack of support for dual channel memory

I checked that with the XFX dealer at Lamington... He quoted me 3.6k but said that it was out of stock...

It actually seems a better option than the ABit Mobo... coz it's cheaper plus its got a VGA, DVI and a HDMI connector

The Palit Mobo supports only 2GB RAM... which i'm already buying...

well , i think even the abit has a HDMI port right ? the XFX seems a good choice, if you are unable to get it , u can get the ABIT , if u wait a day or two, ill have some benchies on the palit n73V done by a fellow OCer from TE ....u can have a look and decide.....
cheers

Actually... I am interested in a DVI Port not a HDMI port... XFX seems to be the best option in the lot... but if i don't get it in this week then i'll buy the ABit one...
The Palit one is the best budget mobo but it has only 2GB of DDR677 support... and I'm planning to add atleast 4GB DDR800 since 2GB module's are so dam cheap...
