i also read of these jmicron/linux issues.

checksum, did linux give you issues because you had an old PATA (IDE) hdd or optical drive? or it gave you problems even without PATA devices connected? i hope the upcoming new releases of linux dont have issues with jmicron...

BIOS 16 has no double post, Beta 1 worked better for me, no FSB reset, with Beta 2 FSB resets to default issue arrive if PC turned off from mains.

Does the double-post also re-occur if you turn off mains power? I read this on AT forums...

Do you have any USB issues?

Is it safe to download BIOS from non-Abit site?! There is a BIOS 16 on Abit's site, won't that be the final non-beta version? Anyhoos, I am getting a Q6600 and 8800GT with this board in the next 10 days, I have a feeling I will regret it soon when prices are lowered next month

Question: I just noticed at the BioStar site for the TP35D2-A7 mobo, if I have a Q6600 (1066 fsb) then the RAM will only run at 533. Is this the same with the Abit IP35E or will the RAM run at the full 800 even if I have a Q6600 at 1066 fsb?

It means FSB:RAM is running in 1:1, where U got this info??

RAM should run @ its default speed no matter what CPU FSB, we select ratios only when we OC, otherwise all options @ Auto.

Na Abit IP35-E doesnt do like this, just plug n play.
