We most of the Time use just less than 2% of Processor's power.

As good as Intels when u compare those Prices.

Not everything depends of Processor alone, Think about Good Mobo, RAM & GPU.

Make that "We" a "I". Nobody I know just keeps the PC switched on doing nothing but staring at the desktop (which would account for 2% usage). If we're not doing anything else, we crunch for WCG or we switch the PC off.

Dude, people from different stages of life, with different levels of usage-be it hobby or processing use different levels need a kickass performance and a good bang of its money. We do understand that your an AMD fan-we were all too!!! But not crazy to forget performance at the same time.

It has happened: Intel cuts quad-core price by 50 percent | Nanotech: The Circuits Blog - CNET Blogs. Two new procs - an E8300 (2.83GHz) and a E7200 (2.53GHz 3MB cache).Eagerly awaiting benchmarks and local price drops.
