These guys should remove the Audio output from the rear I/O panel and give a add-on card. i Wonder how many of 'em buying such boards will be using the onboard audio.

At 299$ its way cheaper than NVIDIAs 790 SLI; should sell. No PCI slot behind the first PCIe. Fcuk!

Yeah that'd have been a welcome change.

Would you even plug a card there?? Esp. when current-gen gfx cards take up 2-3 slots!!

A PCI-E 1x slot before the 16x would still make some sense!!

^btw, did you guys notice that sata port next to that PCI-E 16x slot. I have seen it in few boards too. Wonder why its placed over there. If its for connecting another e-sata port, then i think it would still be a bad placement. What ya guys think ?

Yup I've seen it on a few boards as well. I presume its for the e-sata connectivity.

Bad placement yeah [hats off to ASUS P5Q series for the worst SATA connectors placement on any board I've ever seen ] but then what really amazes me is that, why couldn't have they implemented 2 more adjacent to the existing 6!

Most users have at least 6 HDDs now and others will hunt for PCI-E RAID cards which again cant be used if the PCI-E 16x slots're used.

Most DFI low-end boards have 8 SATA ports like the one you've Saiyan.
