A/V Receivers

I intend to buy A/V receiver with reasonably good Audio as well as Video (upscaling). My budget may be up to 50K. I am leaning towards Onkyo TX-SR706, which is easily available in India.

Advice from all experts is solicited. Availability in India is to be kept in mind

+1. Can anybody tell me the rate for Yamaha RXV665. I don't mind buying from grey mkt as well.

Denon 1909,2309. Have the 1909, love it.

The v663 is ~29k in Mumbai, with bill.

Not sure about the v665.

Is Denon available in India. If yes, where and approx prices of these models.

I think (not sure) that Denon require lot of manual settings for optimum results.

ProFX are the official dealers of Denon in India.

I did the Audyssey setup, fast, automated by microphone. Was a painless process.

Price at ProFX is exorbitant and 2-3 times of international price. Onkyo India price is only 10-30% higher than international price.

Where did you buy 1909?
