Default Urgent: inverter batteries (suggestions)

Hi,
I had purchased APC 1KVA inverter last year. Since then the Amco 2x80H batteries had died twice. Now after spending 24k on inverter + batteries + trolley and having 2 year of warranty; APC is not replacing the batteries; even after 1.5 months of continuous call to their service centre.
I escalated this issue and called their service manager Nehal dixit 9845195917
& sankar ganesh - 9611322855, numerous time but no solution, every time i get the standard reply " will replace the battery in 2 days" don't know what is their definition of 2 days

Now I am fed up and going to buy the batteries on my own and taking APC to consumer court.
--------------------------------
I don't want to have the same kind of experience again and looking for some reliable brand of batteries with good service in Bangalore.
After google search : Exide seems to have gone down in services in recent time , I think Amaron is the way to go. Please suggest.

Thanks.

Thanks adder for the suggestion.
I have given the feedback, Lets hope it doesn't go to BLR APC but to some central department.
Anyways Currently I am in touch with Consumer Online Resources & Empowerment Centre to file the complaint.

I think 2*80= 160 AH batteries are insufficient for 1KVA inverter ( read :load).
you should get 2 batteries of 120AH each, atleast.

Before going to the consumer court, make sure that you have proper records of your complaints to them. If not already done send a registered one with acknowledgment due.

I have received a response from their country manager and he has committed to replace the batteries by today, I have send him a reply that if its not done today, I am going to buy the batteries on my on and will file a case for refund of my money for batteries.

I don't think they will be able to do it today also....

Tomorrow I am buying Amaron shield batteries 100AH ...got a deal of 6.5k for each.
and then I will file a complaint in consumer court.
