it costs around 1.6-1.8 iirc, ask them bout multimedia casing, it has 6-12 months warranty..

Also check out the link below they have many diff casing, one of which caught my interest was with recording feature just see it. they ship to india for free and many ppl around TE have bought from them i guess.....

DealExtreme: HDD & PMP Enclosures

But let me remind u that, none of them are capable to play high bitrate avi files, and it will just play off normal avi files thats around 700-1400 mb per movie of 1-2 hours running time. Thats it nothing more, so i u have a vast collection like me in high bitrates and different formats. Not a good buy. The better one than the above one will be........

FutureBazaar - PASSION M-38 WITH DIVX AND USB 2.0

Its similar to the above u get a dvd player plus u can even use your pen drives etc, but this wont detect partitions and only fat32 works i guess.
Owner of the above can help u better..........

vivek's a happy camper now. he's taking over my popcorn hour
decided to stick to my HTPC instead, since a full blown PC still offers the flexibility and expandability that i need.

Hah, vindication that the popcorn is still a beta product.

If this experience is anything to go by, once the novelty wears off, only a matter of time b4 its up for sale again.

prob with these applicances is they are too limited in what they can do compared to a PC
