Selling the above. Code will be emailed to buyer after payment. I did not get the code card from the retailer, but got it through mail from Nvidia.

Yep. GOG code cannot be redeemed on steam. I recently got that clarified from CD Projekt RED. You can use the code to link it to a GOG account and download the game. GOG version is DRM free. i.e. you can play without internet connectivity. Steam version has steam integration and requires you to be connected to play.
 
One other question, can i buy this and use it with an iso of the game downloaded elsewhere. The reason i am asking this, i don't think they provide an iso and i dont want to download 30+ gb again in case of a corrupted system and such. Happened with DA:I(bought from origin). OS got corrupted and have to download again.
 
^^ You can download the installer and keep a copy of it. Even the updates are downloaded as GOG installers which can then be run to apply the update.
