Can you arrange for Belkin Desktop Skype phone? My parents don want hassle on using computer with the phone. Or Can this phone be used directly without computer by just attaching an ethernet cable to it and giving it a power supply through USB power adapter?

^ Yes, that's what I meant. I have Skype on my phone, and use it via WiFi - so obviously only when in home or free WiFi zones. I haven't ever used it on GPRS because of the crazy charges and I believe Skype does have a good data usage (not the speed per se, but the amount of data)

Well, install it on the phone you want to make the call from atleast! The receiving end can be on Skype on any device (which would obviously make it a free call) or you can buy minutes for the destination country and dial any number from your Skype account.
