I was wondering if some expert can guide me thru the signal strength issue. I earlier had some modems with antennas ranging from 2-4 dBi, now I have is a 5dBi omni directional one.
(a) Will the default 90 degree angle of antenna work best or others work as well?
(b) If fade margin is less than may be 20dB, any actions to increase it?
(c) If the doughnut area has to be workable, can a DIY dish help?
(d) To increase the link quality, whats the best way to increase FSPL?
(e) If I have a 300mbps router and a compatible receiver, the link speed shows 72mbps mostly? what to change?
(f) If the link speed of router is 54mbps, if for eg 3 users are using it, will this speed get divided by 3 for all member?
