Windows 7 - Different volume controls for different users?

I set the volume to 30-35. And never more than 50 unless the sound is barely there.

But when my sister or dad uses another account on the same PC, the volume is sometimes 100 and it drives me crazy because I'm not prepared for the sudden outburst into my ears.:sour:

Is there any way to set different volume levels for different users?

you can set volume per application in windows 7 onwards. example if you use foobar for playing music, it will show up in applications mixer settings. there you can adjust the volume according to llevel you are comfortable with. it works as a percentage of current default volume (main direct sound speakers). so if default volume is 100% and you keep foobar volume at 50%, then if you lower default volume to 50, foobars volume will go down to 25 and so on.

there's no way to set individual volume levels for each user.
