You can buy Hoya 52mm filter set.
it has 3 filters Ultra Violet, CircularPolariser and Neutral Density.

The Hoya HMC Filter Kit is a multipurpose lens filter for your precious camera lens. It can mount on 52mm lenses of both DSLRs and film SLRs. The Hoya HMC Filter Kit does three distinct functions.
The Hoya HMC UV (C) Filter absorbs ultraviolet rays of the sun which often makes outdoor photos hazy and indistinct. It is a multipurpose fine weather filter for colour as well as black-and-white photography. The filter also acts as a permanent lens protector, protecting your precious camera lens from dust, shocks and scratches.
The Hoya Circular Polariser helps you to remove unwanted reflections and increases the contrast and saturation of your outdoor photographs. The black rimmed glass itself reduces lens flare for high clarity photography.
The Hoya Neutral Density Filter NDx8 is essential for outdoor photos with extreme light intensity such as snowy mountains, sand dunes or beaches. It can also be used as natural “motion blurâ€Â to your photographs by reducing aperture speed, without the use of computer software.
The low profile frame with Black Almite finish reduces reflections and helps to easily install and remove the filter from the lens. The frame is also designed with knurling edges to fit a lens cap too. The Hoya HMC lens-filter come with its own protective casing and is backed by lifetime manufacturer’s warranty. Bring out the photographic genius in you with the Hoya HMC FILTER KIT (C) PL UV (C) NDx8 52mm Lens Filter.

The filters that you require will depend upon kind of photography you want to do.
Even though everybody recommends UV filter, as far as DSLR is concerned it does not add any filtering value to your camera. It's partly true that it does protect your front elements from finger prints and unintentional knocks but remember that it is an additional glass and is liable to add distortions to your photos. I would suggest the following assuming that you are also interested in taking landscape photos:

1. Circular polariser of largest diameter that you can afford along with some step-up rings (recommended brands would be B+W, Hoya digital pro)
2. A variable ND filter
3. A graduated ND filter
4. Some good quality close-up filters like Kenko to do some macro-photography.

As far as filters for protection is concerned, I would suggest lenshoods and nothing else. If you want to be psychologically happy about the safety of your lens, then try getting some clear glass filter of thinnest thickness instead of UV filters.

CPs are essential for outdoors in india. Learn to use one and you shall be able to take wonderful photos. NDs come next - quite useful. Basic UV filters are useless. They screw with sharpness and basically lower picture quality 99% of the times. As for CP, get the biggest diameter you can afford as someone else mentioned. Also get a hoya or b+w. Rest sold in india are junk.
