Detach your HDD cables and reattach them properly. This solved my problem when my HDD's ultra dma CRC error count gone up to 2192 after reattaching cables it stops increasing.

wat about the temps and speed of hdd are they ok??
ps: my pc freezes occasionally is it bcozz of the hdd

The temp in the range of 36 - 42 are quite normal for HDD's. Also the green & LP drives are more cooler than normal ones

Bump!

Guys, HD Tune is giving me the same warning:

I'm not experiencing any sluggishness or file corruption.

I even replaced the SATA cable of this HDD.

Should I be worried? Should I RMA this HDD? :(

Temp: I guess the temp will come down today as I'll be installing a couple of 120mm fans in my PC case.

Do fan positioning well.

I have same he'd and it runs cooler than wd green.

In fact it runs at 32c as my main drive.

Also re attach the sata cables snuggly with enough pressure.

This post pretty much sums it up - http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r24178500-

"It's also important to remember that SMART attributes represent the state of the drive *across its entire lifetime*. 1 CRC error during its lifetime is acceptable."

Those value are not going to reset themselves even if problem is fixed! Most probably 10 CRC errors happened some time in the past. That no. is not increasing (in my case) - So, I guess there's no need to worry. :|
