Sony Mobiles has finally announced the official roll out of their much delayed Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Xperia P and GO (and additionally, the Xperia E Dual).
Sony Xperia P & Go Jelly Bean Update
After much delay, the Sony Xperia P and GO users are finally being treated to their (last) Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. What's special about this update and what set's it apart from the Jelly Bean update that Xperia J users got is that the new Android 4.1.2 for Xperia P and GO packs most of the same features including STAMINA Mode and the Updated Launcher as the flagship Xperia Z and ZL models.

Sony Xperia E Dual Jelly Bean Update
As a surprise, the Xperia E Dual is also being treated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The single SIM Xperia E launched with Jelly Bean out of the box but packed much of the software from early 2012 or late 2011 Sony ICS Software Package and that mostly remains true with the Xperia E Dual as well. What's new is the STAMINA Mode, Google Now and Expandable Notification Toggles.

The update is rolling out in stages and is already available to Indian users.
The Xperia S, SL and Ion will start receiving their update at the end of May, much to everyone's dismay.
