Portable Laptop/Netbook 14" or less @ 25k budget: Dec2011

Hi folks,

In a very urgent need of a portable netbook/laptop for work purpose.

Required size: 11inches - 14inches

Budget: ~ 20k-25k (Has to be a VFM purchase)

Usage: (which I doubt will make any difference, looking at the lack of options)

Adobe photoshop 20%

MS word 25%

Mail, multiple tabs in browser 30%

Movies+Music+Gaming 25%

Is my above usage graphics oriented or processor oriented?

Priority:

Performance & Portability > Battery Life

Went through many threads, but none mentioned the Sony vaio. Hence confused between following.

Sony vaio netbook

Asus' options

Other unknown options

Please shares your thoughts. Need to buy 2 of these this week.

Thanks

UPDATE 29 Aug'11:

Purchase 1 piece Sony YB series E-350 based netbook.

Build quality: 8/10

Screen quality: 10/10 --> The best part

Speaker sound: 6/10

Battery life: 7/10 ~ 3hrs after FBing, browsing, net usage.

Reliability & maintence: No idea yet, hasnt broken down or required repair.

Netbook: Any AMD Fusion based netbook

Laptop: Any laptop based on the 1st generation core i3 processors. Also you could get a pentium dual core lappie too, for about 20k.

But the options above are only for light gaming. Else you will need a laptop with a GPU or go with a AMD Llano based laptop.

Thanks for the quick response. Which netbooks have the AMD Llano, Fusion?

Bought one piece from Chandigarh. Second will be ordered via Letsbuy unless I find a better option than this until thursday. So still looking forward to opinions, will share this netbook's opinion as soon as I get some time.

This seems like a good option:

Toshiba C640-I4010

It seems to have very good specs for its price- 2nd gen i3, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 14" screen.
But its weight seems to be slightly on the higher side, otherwise it offers the best value for money.
