Wellll.......i had those benchies, but it seems it is for the 768MB one...this one is slightly slower than the 9600GT512 , but as its the Sonic edition , it shud be nearly on par....great buy for guys who want a lil more than a 8600GT 256DDR3 , bt cant spend too much for a 9600GT 512DDR3
 
for 19" LCD users, difference hardly noticiable. 1600X1200 is little harsh on these cards. yeah 40% approx faster than 8600GTS. :D
 
performance wise, this card is just a hair short than 9600gt but with 3k less its perfect for someone with a 17inch monitor
 
thanx folks..had been wondering what to get for this price segment for a long time , since tehe 8600GT disappeared from the scene nearly, the 9600GT was still more expensive......so the 9600GSO is here......
 
i have been saving money for 8600GT ...now this has changed my mind...:clap: .......Hoping this product will be available after 2-3 week.
 
U saved me now i ll get a 9600gso rather than 9600gt and will get q6600 from the saved money!!! :eek:hyeah:
When is this card officially launhing here in india!

Crysis will be playable @ ultra high @ 1280 X 1024 ... I dont think it will be able to handle AA at these settings.
 
It would be able to crunch ~35 frames in Crysis at 1280x1024 with 16AF as mentioned in one of the reviews.
Now dat's cool coz u would be able to play like every game on a 17" at max settings. A blessing for 17" holders.:eek:hyeah:
