Photon+ too slow

Never got the download speed above 80kpbs. Signal level remains well above 90 most of the time. Is there something, some setup or some change that can help with the seed?
 
Check if it says photon whiz or photon+ in the tata photon app. if its whiz you're limited to 128Kbps.

BTW where are you from? I'm in Bangalore and never get even 100Kbps on 95% o the time I use it
 
Hahaa that is how Tata's are fooling people. Should have gone with mtnl. Blazing speeds they offer.

Such things are heavily network dependent and we cannot do much about it. Just call the tata customer care and see if they can do anything about it.

Next time I will go with MTNL, whether for BB or cell.

Lets see, I will test this out at my friend's place.
 
You will never get the speed which Tata Photon+ shows on their sites. I have been using 2x for past 1.5 years. They are stuck like at 90/100. Useless.
 
^ Yup, I know that but it should get atleast near to it, somewhere it should atleast look like you are using Photon. By speed, it looks like its dialup sometimes.
