Nokia has launched their cheapest entry level phone. Dubbed the Nokia 105, this "dabba" packs a color display and promises the usual huge battery life. Need a spare phone? Well meet the new Nokia 105.
Nokia 105

The Nokia 105 is Nokia's most affordable phone with a color screen. It comes with a modest 1.45 inch (128 x 128 pixels) display which supports 65k colors. The 105 does support FM radio as well as Nokia Life applications (which are really helpful, and targeted towards the rural poor).

The Nokia 105 is based on the Series 30 platform, just like the previous Nokia 100 and 101 phones. The Nokia 105 promises about 12.5 hours of talk time (on 2G only of course), which is simply great. Stand by time is of 35 days and we can be sure that the phone can last nearly a week on a single charge (and very modest usage of course) making it perfect for a backup phone, or if you make a lot of calls and your smartphone would simply die in the first half of your day itself.

Nokia is targeting the entry level market of countries such as India and Africa with their latest phone. The Nokia 105 will go on sale in India later this April for an affordable Rs. 1,200 only.
