Looking to buy a inverter for hospital . Load wattage is around 800watts.

Got this quote from local dealer Amaron 1.4kva with 2*160ah amaron tribal battery =26000

Amaron 1.4kva+2*120ah tubular battery for 28000..

He sells only amaron, sukam, whirlpool and micotek. L

Is the above quote any good? How is the inverter quality?

Should i prefer any other brand??

Will check with my brother who works for Amaron and update here

Edit: Checked. Recommends going for the 2*160 mah batteries than the 120 tubular. And the pricing is competitive

Thanks for the information. But couldn't find any reviews on the Amaron inverter. Any users of the Amaron inverters?

Amaron inverters are good. One of my relative have been using it for about 6 months now without issues. But why dont you choose APC??? they are pretty reliable.

850VA sinewave output cost 5200 here in chennai. You will have to spend extra for battery though

APC had many issues for the inverters meant for home use. They are the principal suppliers for many an office use. But somehow when they made their home UPS, they bungled badly. Similarly AmaraRaja (Amaron) had many quality issues.

MicroTek & SuKam are in this business catering to home customers for a long time.
