Need opinions and feedbacks on these:

^is that the original or V2?
Some people like the CX430 v2. And some don't. Some major reviews recommend it and some don't. I thought maybe there is a difference in quality between the old batch and new batches. Just like the VX450. Can anyone confirm?

Seasonic Eco 400W 85% (SS400BT) PSU 2550

I have used this model in 2 of my friends' rig in last 4 months approx. No problems till now whatsoever. I have got them from eBay for ~2500 from 'theoverclockerzone', with very quick shipping of almost being delivered to Mumbai from Kolkata within 2 days of order.
Its Tirupati. Just like how Acro does with SMC International.
What about the others?

^ All 3 PSUs are not good, as already discussed in the last few pages, please scroll through :)
As an example, a CX430 V2 is struggling to cold-start a system because of a failing 5VSB capacitor.

Yeah, Its Tirupati itself. As rightly said above, if budget allows, minimum 1 should get is Seasonic S12 II 430 - retails around 3800.

Out of budget thats the prob.
Will any of the three be fine with running a very basic system say, A8 3870k, 4gb ram and ~hd6670/equivalent card?
I'm more worried about the reliability than the wattage.

Many people here wouldn't agree with me, but I'll recommend CX430 V2. I had bought it like 15 months ago, and it is working just fine ! And let me tell you, I have used it extensively i,e, I have been folding on it for around 16 hours a day for the past year on my GTX 460 + G620. You can clearly see how much reliable it has been. Even VS450 is a good choice. Also it will be completely ok with that system (mine consumes almost double of this !)
Plus corsair has much better service than seasonic

As i said different batches, different quality. That's what worries me. What's your model's batch no.?
But I'm definitely NOT going to buy the VS series. If you read reviews you'll see that they use low quality materials. No other reason for its low price.
If possible get a used one.
I think I'll do that.
Can you tell me about the continuous energy output of the Eco 400W? Is it really 85% efficient?
A good efficient one would be great so... :3
