Friends I need to finalize- while there seem to be some more phones on market-but now all of a sudden Note 2 at 28.5k to me looks like a bargain.
1. Budget?
A: 30k
2. Preferred Form Factor(flip, bar, slider)?
A: Bar
3. Preferred display type?
A: AMOLED
4. Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.
A: Established Names only -Samsung has a service centre in Shimla
5. Preferred input method (Touchscreen, QWERTY, etc.)?
A: Touchscreen
6. Camera required or not? If required, please specify type like front camera/flash/etc.
A: 8mp or above, good indoor performance a bonus
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: Android
8. Preferred connectivity options? (3G, Wifi, Edge etc).
A: 3G,wifi
9. What is your intended use for this phone(internet, camera, multimedia, mails, etc)?
A: mails, internet,maps,multimedia,some time pass games
10. Any other requirements?
A: should have great Display-Gorilla Glass- long battery life a must.
11. If you have already considered a phone then please mention the model.
A:Samsung Galaxy Note 2- at 28.5 K- with 6 Interest free EMI

At this point in time I would suggest waiting for the note 3, should come out in a month or so. Note 2 launched in august last year.

This will depress the prices of note 2 further.

You did not mention preferred screen size. The note 2 is 5.5 inches, rumours say the note 3 will be 6 inches or more and if you look at the s4, chances are it won't feel that much bigger.

As far as battery life is concerned note 2 is very close to the top :)

i'm also planning to buy a note 2... buying it under that exchange offer..
still confused with the pricing..
the guy quotes Rs 27,500 .... after giving 10K discount for my years old e72
thats the price given on the advertisement
what is the least rate that i can get??

Keep the phone and buy note 2 for 28-28.5k under normal offer apply coupons bro

I wanted to order a Note 2 but my local mobile-shop guy told me to wait till monday as there can be a price drop.
I need the phone asap, not sure if I should wait.
Most probably I will give-in to my impulse and order today itself :p

planning to buy Nexus 4
i used Note 1 of a friend of mine for a week or two.. i always had that feeling.. i'm going to break it just like kit-kat
i guess it would be good to have a phone that fits in every pant

yeah i was ready to dispose off my e72
i thought i was getting better returns
its just another marketing gimmick i think...
samsung gives 10k return on most of the smartphone.. that includes all galaxy series phone even on galaxy y which costs something around 5.5k
BTW e72 is not included in them, although the shopkeeper still agreed to gimme the offer
