LG Rolling Out Jelly Bean Update For Optimus L9, Optimus 4X HD & L7 To Get Later This Month

LG has released the official Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Optimus L9 smartphone and confirmed that its Optimus 4X HD and Optimus L7 smartphones will be getting update by the end of March.



The news comes from LG's official German blog. They have said that the official update will start rolling out by the end of March for Optimus 4X HD and Optimus L7 and the update is already available for Optimus L9. They have said that only unlocked versions will receive the update.

Here is the official changelog in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean:
  • Add the "Project Butter", which allows an even smoother operation
  • constant frame rate by Vertical Sync
  • improved responsiveness
  • extensible alerts (notifications) and notifications with actions
  • Google Now integration
  • Dictate without an Internet connection

  • Support Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
