  • What's your Budget? 40-55k
  • What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? Watching HD movies on weekends, Lightroom, Photoshop, Gaming on rare occasions
  • What size and weight considerations do you have? I want a light laptop, with min 13" max 15.6" screen (Touch not mandatory)
  • Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? No Lenovo, Acer, HCL, Samsung.. others will do
  • Any other considerations? I love backlit keyboards (helps in Night) I'm crazy for resolution, so want FHD display.. On board Gfx will do, but if dedicated gfx comes in this bracket, then great! Want min Ci5, but Ci7 will be great and Min 8GB RAM

I saw several listings on eBay, sellers offering FHD Display, Gfx card, Ci7, Touch displays within 50k, but warranty offered was Sellers.. See the link for eg.

There were several models from Dell too featuring same specs with Sellers warranty.
I stay in Mumbai, so how safe is it to buy from such sellers? Also I loved this link on another thread-

Any idea if it will be relisted?

Regarding the Asus model, the seller mentioned a week or two. So I suggest waiting. And with a FHD screen and good power, chances are less that you'll come across a model with good battery backup. Is it an important criteria?

Battery is a priority, but a good screen ranks higher..
BTW, I got a New Mac Pro from my office, so will hold buying decision until you guys get your machine from that seller.. Waiting for your review..

I am also eyeing Acer V5-573g and based on the reviews I read build quality is good. Keyboard is so so but looks like a good performance laptop at the price. But Acer is not known for good service. That and availability are holding me back
