HTC and Nokia are preparing to launch new flagship smartphones into the world market, and it is happening soon, real soon. HTC has sent out invites for their pre-MWC event on 19th of Feb, 2013 and we just might know what's in store for us.. Nokia in the meanwhile, will have their press conference on the 25th, the first day of the MWC expo.
HTC pre-MWC event on 19th Feb: HTC M7?

HTC is all set to introduce their next flagship (yes, we know!) and it will be their code named M7 smartphone. HTC's M7 will be the world's first Android smartphone to pack a 1080p display, while having a display size of less than 5 inch. That's right, the HTC M7 will pack a SoLuX technology packing 4.7 inch 1080p display complete with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as well (99%). If our calculations are right, that puts the M7 display with an astounding 468 ppi pixels density. That alone rings enough bells for this flagship to grab attention and make heads turn. In addition, we have HTC's new Sense 5 UI in store as well.

Nokia MWC event on 25th February: New Lumia flagship?

Nokia is holding their MWC event on the first day of the expo, that is 25th of February. Last year, Nokia unveiled their 41 MP sensor carrying PureView 808 (last Symbian) smartphone as well as their first affordable Windows Phone (7.5), the Lumia 610.

Nokia has made it clear that the PureView 808 was their last Symbian smartphone, so we are expecting for a new Windows Phone, possibly a new flagship that irons out many issues of the Lumia 920, such as being extra heavy or having no expandable storage.

There's a chance we might see a proper PureView based Lumia (you know, with a HUGE 40 MP camera sensor or something) this MWC. All really exciting!
