Hello,

My computer has following configuration :

Intel Core 2 Duo E4600

Abit IP35-e

Palit 9800GT 512MB

G.Skill PI Black 2x2GB 800MHz RAM..

I know it's outdated and need to get myself upgrade now. But I want to know which of the above is faulty. Whenever I play games life F1 2010 or 2011 or start rendering videos in Powerdirector. I get some alternative high-low beeps (kinda Siren). Beeps stops sounding when I close that perticuler application or a game..

I've managed to get temperatures from tools like Core Temp and GPU Temp.. Here are the results :

CPU Temperature (Around 51C for both cores)

GPU Temperature (Around 59C)

I don't know actually which hardware is forcing motherboard to beep.

I guess you have enabled either of these in BIOS â–º Temperature Monitor

under the A-bit uguru panel. Just check those sections and disable the beep, or increase the beep temp of the system. Here is a reference

Well, the last time I heard such beeps, system GPU was overdrawing power from the PSU. It was a puny CM 400 PSU against the Radeon 4870. I could never figure out the source of beeps (Mobo, GPU or PSU - long shot, but possible) though it was gone after the PSU was replaced.
