Hi,..
i have purchased Sapphire Hd5670 1Gb DDR5 Graphics card.

I want to know how do i monitor the temperature of the Graphics Card and its Health???

On stock drivers?
Install the catalyst drivers first.
To check the temp check in the amd overdrive section.
Your card wont be running hot if it is in good health.

To check and monitor your gpu temps and details, you can use gpuz or msi afterburner. gpuz is really good. afterburner is used mainly for overclocking though.

the health of a GPU can't be monitored, but its temp and fan speed can be monitored, you can use gpuz as simforgotten have suggested. Also everest can also do the job :)

I hav already installed the catalyst drivers ...
now where do i find the temp and fan speed details ???

Look there is a number of softwares to check temps and fan speeds, all do the same job more or less. GPUZ and Msi afterburner are quite popular softwares. Why dont you download the softwares and check the temps and fan speeds yourself?

If I was in your place, I would have downloaded everest/gpuz/afterburner already.

Actually gpuz is better then the others, because unlike the others it shows other critical reading of your gpu as well

Check this : GPU-Z also shows the core speed and the vram details

Else you can use Riva Tuner coupled with a Win7 gadget and see all metrics at run time, on the screen side bar.
 
Isn't that a lot of information ? perhaps you should be more conscious about GPU Temp and fan speed only. You can download GPU monitor gadget which shows Temp, fan, GPU memory, graph in a nice looking box.

 
I am not able to configure RivatTuner with the Win7 GPU monotor Gadget for my Sapphire ATI HD5670 1Gb DDR5.
Not able to get the "low-level hardware monitor" icon in RivaTuner.

Can some help with precise details ...

When you click on low level. You would need to go into the 'setup' option of Riva, and enable the monitoring DLLs which you want. Then go back to the gadget and put those on.

can u guide me through the process.....!!!
tried something .. but not clear what needs to be done,,,.. pls help
 
Which fields are you getting for the Riva Hardware monitoring. And are you using the GPU Monitor gadget for Win7.

1. You would need to open Riva Tuner.

2. Select the option and choose hardware monitoring.

3. And through via Source enable the monitors you want.

4. The gadget will have them available.
