Gmail Beats Hotmail To Become World's Largest E-Mail Service

Google's email service GMail has finally become the world's largest email service provider, according to ComScore.



Google announced in June itself that they topped the market with 425 million monthly active users, but ComScore figures were much below ( by 136 million) from 425 million. Yahoo and Hotmail also reported their own figures which were more closer to ComScore figures.

Now, according to ComScore, Google has 287.91 million users, followed by Hotmail which has a user base of 286.23 million, Yahoo is at third position with 281.72 million users.



For GMail and Yahoo, the highest number of visitors are from tha USA,Japan,India, United Kingdom and France. For Hotmail, the highest numbers of visitors are also from Brazil and Mexico, apart from the United States,United Kingdom and France.
