    • Keyboard and mouse
    • GPU - ATI HD 5770

    • Cabinet
    • Motherboard
    • Processor
    • PSU
    • RAM
    • CPU cooler (iff required)
    • 1-2 TB HDD (My WD black is almost full)
  5. Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component
    • might upgrade my ATI HD 5770 (running out of cash for this)
  6. Where will you buy this hardware? (Online/City/TE Dealer)

Will my UPS be enough for the config to be mentioned? (current one is APC 650 VA)
Finally one question should i reduce the budget for the processor and motherboard and go for a new GPU?

Thank you for all your support in advance..

i5 4440 ~ 12.4k
Gigabyte GA-P85-D3 ~ 7k
Corsair Value/Kingston 1 x 4GB ~ 2.8k
WD Green 2TB ~ 5.8k
Seasonic S12II 520 ~ 5.2k
Total ~ 33.2k

No idea about cabinets since its a personal choice. Search through some of the threads. You could get yourself a graphics card upgrade with whats left.

By getting an Asrock B85M-Pro4 Op can save 1.5k on motherboard and getting 1Tb Blue will save him another ~2k. Now with almost 11k left [ more if he plans to add ram later / sell his current GPU ] he can get a R9 270 / x .

AMD FX6300 - 7.2K
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 - 4.1K
Kingston Hyper-X 4GB*2 - 5.5K
WD 1TB Blue - 4K
Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X OC - 15.2K
Seasonic S12II 520 - 4.8K
Nzxt Gamma(2.5K)/Bitfenix Alpha Merc USB3(3K)/Corsair Spec 01(3.5K).
If possible get a Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard. You can OC the FX using a good cooler on it.

the intel config suggested to you is miles ahead in performance and also has better power consumption efficiency.
Yes true... I was going through reviews between Intel and AMD finally decided on the Processor (which is intel)
now just have to solve one more about Mobo (to choose between Asus and Gigabyte - to go for H or B series) I'm looking for normal ATX board only, what currently i have is a Micro atx which is a pain.
I have to think will my Xonar DG sound card will be of any good on these mobo or may have to sell this off (since these mobo might have better on board sound than the card i have)
Last hurdle will be choosing cabinets....
Skipping GPU for now since i might have to replace my 650 VA ups to power this rig....

i5 4440 ~ 12k
Gigabyte B85M-D3H ~ 5.5k
Corsair Vengeance 1x4GB ~ 2.8k
WD Caviar Blue 2TB ~ 4.5k
Antec VP450P ~ 2.6k
Corsair Carbide SPEC-01 ~ 3.6k
Sapphire/HIS R9 270X 2GB ~ 15k
Total ~ 46k

Guys please check this config and let me know which would be better (pushing budget to 50K) :nailbiting:

AMD
Processor - FX 8320 (10400)
Mobo - M5A97 EVO R2.0 (8200) or ASRock 970 Extreme3 (7200)
Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (2800)
Ram - Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 4 GB (2800)
HDD - WD Green 2TB (6000)
PSU - Seasonic S12II 520 (5200)
APC ups - APC UPS 1000VA (8000)
Cabinet - Which can fit the CM Evo heatsink
Total comes around 42-43k (without cabinet)

Vs

Intel

Processor - i5 4440 (12400)
Mobo - Asus B85-Plus (7400) or Asus H87 Plus (8700) or ASRock H 87 Pro 4 (7900)
Ram - Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 4 GB (2800)
HDD - WD Green 2TB (6000)
PSU - Seasonic S12II 520 (5200)
APC ups - APC UPS 1000VA (8000)

Cabinet - yet to decide
Total comes around 42-43k (without cabinet)

And
1. Will APC 800VA (2.5k less) suffice for the above configuration or should stick with 1000 va? (going to add AMD card in future + one 1TB black hdd)
2. I have to OC AMD to get the same performance as Intel i guess (and may do better than intel!!!)
3. Hope i dont require heatsink for Intel config! right?
4. Anymore cutdowns without much difference in performance is always welcome :D

Its better to stick with Intel as it has more speed per core than AMD.

Intel
Processor - i5 4440 -12400,
Mobo - Gigabyte H87M-D3H -7400,
Ram - Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 4 GB -2800,
HDD - WD Caviar Blue 2TB -4500,
PSU - Seasonic S12II 520 -5200,
APC ups - APC UPS 1100VA -5400,
Cabinet - Corsair Carbide SPEC-01 -3800,
ODD - Asus 24B5ST DVD-RW -1100,
GPU - Sapphire R7 250 2GB DDR5 -8000.
TOTAL -50,600.

Please can anyone tell me the difference between APC UPS - BR1000G-IN (costs around 8k) and APC UPS -BR1100CI-IN (costs around 6k) couldn't find any reviews on this

@bssunil
hey WD Caviar Blue 2TB doesn't exist right??

APC UPS - BR100G-IN has a LDC display of how many watts the whole connected devices consume and also has the ability to connect to a battery extender. This provides 600w of power.
APC UPS - BR1100CI-IN does not have any LCD display and is a normal UPS that provides 660w of power.

Sorry I meant the WD Caviar Black 2TB which might cost in excess of 8k

Thanks @bssunil :)
I thought just the LCD display would never cost so much!!! never saw the extended support to connect to an additional battery even thou i checked that pick :arghh:
By any chance can you give suggestions on ATX mobo...

If you don't want RAID support and want even cheaper Mobo then go for Gigabyte B85M-D3H -5500.This is a mATX mobo.

@bssunil
I dont think i will use RAID support
but, i dont like micro ATX since its too small... I have one and feels very congested....
I can spend upto 8k around for mobo...
