Hi guys.

Selling my OCZ Platinum XTC DDR2 1000 4GB kit (2GB x 2).

This was bought through Katmandude, so standard KMD warranty is applicable. Lifetime warranty on the sticks. And personal testing warranty from me as well.

Its OCZ2P10004GK kit which uses new PowerChip ICs.

Will cost you Rs.5550 through KMD.

Asking Rs.5000 shipped.

These were bought sometime in June. Dont remember exact date.

Reason for sale : Same reason as the motherboard sale. I got DDR3 board :)

I SPECULATE these default @ 800 and have to be manually set to 1000 via BIOS...so most prolly, thats as much high they wud be going.
 
Actually even with tight performance level of 7 these go upto 1070-1080 depending on the motherboard.
Above that you have to increase performance level setting.
Then they will go all the way upto 1190 with perf level 10 but with voltage upped to 2.25v.

1000 to1100Mhz 5-5-5-15 perf level 7 or 8 is the sweet spot for both latency and bandwidth.

I was running them @ 1008Mhz 5-5-5-15 performance level 7.
2.05v on X48 DQ6
 
Oooooooooooh, so tempting.....but still, my Tracers are doing 1000 @ 5-5-5-15 and looks sexy as hell too :D
 
this late as my blackops and DDR3 ram took almost 1 month more than I expected it to arrive in India.
 
hey man udit how come 5-5-5-18 is better than 4-4-4-12 ?:S
i know if you lower down the speed you can tight the timeings.. but how much... better than 4-4-4-12 ?

if you want to run ram at 800Mhz, then honestly even Transcend value will do 4-4-4-12. :p

People buy high speed RAMs to have better ocing headroom or to run them at higher speed.
