Here are some speakers for sale on behalf of my friends.:)
(1) Item for sale: Altec Lansing VS3251 5.1 speakers (withdrawn from this sale)
Price: Rs.2950/-



Warranty:

Might have some warranty left if it comes with 1year warranty or more.

Purchased sometime around March/April 2008.

Friend looking for the bill.

Non-DOA and 2 days testing warranty. :)



Reason for sale:

Impulsive purchase while shopping at Croma to use with his DVD player. :p

Opened to test and put back inside after being intimidated with the associated cabling required even if used with the pc. :)



Condition:

Opened after purchase but unused ever since.

In good condition- maybe some dust here and there as it was repacked not so tidily. :)



Box + Remote + everything that came inside it.:)

Update:

The 5.1 set for sale here is marked 'VS3251' but definitely has a wireless remote and a receiver wired to the sub. :)

Manufactured in Nov '07.

Imported in Jan '08.

Purchased in Mar/April '08 and friend trying his best to find the bill. :)



Prefer local buyers or those who can arrange pick up.

(2) Item for sale: Altec Lansing ATP3 2.1 speakers (Sold)
Price: Rs.1450/-
Warranty:

No warranty left as it's more than 2 years old.

Purchased sometime in 2006 if i am not mistaken.

Non-DOA and 2 days testing warranty. :)
Reason for sale:

Friend has shifted to 5.1 speakers sometime back and these were idling away in his closet till he undertook some home improvement. :)
Condition:

In acceptably decent condition cosmetically- sounds ok too.

Some scratches, fading, marks on the subwoofer unit.

Satellites are pretty ok.

Dust here and there as it was lying in the open while his home is getting renovated and that's when he thought of selling them. :)
Will be tested properly before someone drops by to check it out.:)

Is it just me or the pics disappeared?? :S
I wouldn't have denied shipping but there are a few problems as of now-

the hassles of shipping something of that weight/size,

Courier companies strictly refusing to accept electronic stuff,

the cost effectiveness of such a sale.

So in case i have no local buyers and my friends desperately need money, shipping ,maybe considered at a later point of time but not as of now.

And that 5.1 was picked up from Croma for 4K then.

Not sure of present prices- please do PM me the price of a new set and will do the needful if the present sale price is unreasonable.

It was tested with only 2 sats in 2.1 mode and the rest untouched as it didn't suit the primary intent of the buyer/owner. :)

Some people use their credit card much more than their brains. :p

Haven't kept a thorough check on who's where in the queue actually.

Will check later.

That makes your chances of getting any rather slim, doesn't it- inspite of being so close by. :lol:
BTW, are you really interested in taking both or one or what- please be a lil more clear. :)
 
OK- i received a PM saying a new VS3251 sells for quite close to the sale price here.
It seems that there maybe 2 models- one with remote (VS3251R) and one without (VS3251/VS3251E)as dealers seem to be stressing on the "with remote" part.
MX5021 was stated as for Rs.6850/- on deltapage and reails in Mumbai for 7K odd.

So i doubt the VS3251R sells for less than 3.9K in Mumbai as that's deltapage states it at Rs.3900/- iirc.

If anyone has concrete info on the price for new ones, please post openly in the thread with the price and your source.

Please do not post assumptions or third party info.

Only first hand info straight from the dealer's mouth or mail please and from those who have one for ready delivery. :p
I will recheck and post here if the one for sale here is the VS3251R but i am quite sure i saw a remote and an IR receiver permanently wired to the sub. :p
