Dilemma - Extarnal HDD ... Confused :(

I want to buy 250GB 2.5" external USB HDD. I searched the forum there are many options. But I have no patience to go and check details specs for each model.

Budget 2500 rs (+/- 200 is ok)

Kindly help me...:)

1) Buffalo MiniStationâ„¢ Lite 250GB Portable External Hard Drive

2) Western Digital Elements 250GB Portable External Hard Drive

3) Western Digital 250 Passport 2.5'' External

4) Transcend 250GB 2.5'' External

5) Seagate 250GB Freeagent GO 2.5'' Portable

What is difference between WD Elements and WD Passport ? Seagate offers 5 years warranty on Freeagent (acc to TheITwares thread) that is impressive as compared to 3 and 2 years of WD and Transcend respectively.

But Im confused. Pls guys suggest me.

why 250GB?

have you checked the difference between the price of 250GB or 320GB?

320GB HDD's are VFM ATM..

why don't you get it via ebay?

i bought a 320GB Seagate Freeagent HDD about 15 days ago via a member here (as he had 15% off coupon).

i ended up paying 2660/- if i can remember it correctly. :)

PS - go for Seagate as they are the only one with 5 years warranty.
