Laptops bios update problem

i have a lenovo 3000 n100 model laptop older version...it had bios version of 1.09...so i updated it..now the problem arises that------

1> my integrated mic is not working...
2>if i restart my laptop with headphones plugged external speakers don't work...
and if i restart without headphones then the speakers work...but if i plug headphone then both speakers and headphone work and not the headphone only........
help me please...it urgent.......
 
Does the laptop have Thinkvantage technologies? If yes, run the 'update my system' in the maintenance section. See if it has a newer Bios or audio drivers.

If not, search for an updated audio driver.

If that fails as well, recheck the audio settings. (I'm sure you've done that already)
 
i tried rolling back to previous version of bios, always resulted in BSOD

finally, some version i installed proved to be stable

my problem is solved now....thnx for ur help anyways
