Aramex has started asking for copy of ID while delivering international shipments?

we can never be too sure.. if delivering to right person as most are prepaid packages.

no issues with cash on delivery orders.

ID or KYC?

I have had to give my KYC docs to DHL when they were bringing some stuff from Amazon US.

Recently when Amazon shipped through Aramex, I got an SMS asking me to keep my KYC docs ready. However, the delivery boy didn't ask for it.

Might have to do with govt regulations.

What's the difference between an ID and KYC docs? In KYC docs you need to provide a government ID.

KYC would be one time as the records will be permanant with them. but ID would be just for verifying
